Today marks the beginning of the Lenten Season. I remember my High school days when after hearing mass one classmate of mine would take a joke on the ashes on my forehead and say ” hoy classmate, may dumi ka sa noo mo!” and I would swipe it out with my handkerchief, forgot that i just had the ash on my forehead.
Many of us doesn’t really know why we celebrate this Catholic tradition. let’s take time to find out why. Maybe it’s time to renew our relationship with God!

Meaning Behind Your Baby’s Name
I remember then when Ian and I was thinking of the name for our first child. As we all know, it is very important for a person to have a name that you will carry for the rest of your life. It serves as your identification and makes you a unique individual.
There are many factors to consider in naming a child. Others name their child after their parents, or their husbands, there goes the Juniors, III, IV…etc..etc.. Some name their child after their favorite celebrity or characters in a movie, television, even in books. Some naman, after the Saints and characters in the bible.
I personally, even search the internet on baby names meanings & their origins. I thought of the name GABRIELLE since she was a girl. I searched its meaning and i was delighted that GABRIELLE = is a feminine form of Hebrew name Gabriel which means “God is my Strength”. I chose LOUISSE as her second name. She was fondly called “Gabby” sounds masculine isn’t it? because i want her to be tough & independent as she grows.
My second baby is a boy. We named him DOMINIC KAROL Dominic means ” belonging to God”. her second name Karol was after Ian’s late mom CAROL. Since he was a boy we changed the first letter “C” into letter “K”! after all, Pope John Paul’s real name was Karol Wojtyla. His nickname is “NICCO” I want “NICKY” sana to rhyme with “GABBY” LOL! but nicco sounds soft naman so ok lang. Because I want him to be a gentle person, for him to express his soft spot qualities! Not for him to become gay naman. Wala lang, I intentionally gave my girl a musculine nickname and my son a gentle name.
Surfing the net
Haay, here i go again with my web browser! kaasar. can’t do my blog efficiently with the internet explorer. ca’nt download naman another browser coz my boss might get mad. 😀
am just browsing other blogs for the meantime and enjoy reading. hope to find ways to fix this up!
My Cowgirl & Groovy Son
I had a hard time focusing on their faces while capturing this frame for them. nakakatawa kasi inis si Gabby sa kakasabi ko ng don’t move! smile ka lang! hahaha!! but it did turn out so cute naman..
Nicco, since birth has thin hair, so he was always called kalbo by others. they would always regard him as” Nicco Boy the Kalbo boy”.
computer trouble
Kakainis! I’ve been trying to upload photos and manage my blogs to have cbox, so that i can link up other blogs & get to meet bloggers. but then, after so many tries, i still failed. hmmp… what could be the problem here? I dunno. something’s missing on the page when i try to edit it. haaah… i think i’m having trouble with javascript.. grrrr.

Meet my Family
Ian is my dear hubby. Gabby, my 3 yrs. & 9 mos. old daughter. She’s now in nursery & really enjoys school so much. Nicco is my adorable 1 yr & 8 mos. old son. We’re really blessed to have these angels. They really made our life more meaningful. Our kids made us realize that we now have responsibility to face as parents. We had the up’s & down in our relationship but am so proud that we were able to surpass all the challenges and opt to continuously face it together hand-in-hand. With God, as the main center in our life and with Gabby & Nicco as our inspiration for us to become one and build a whole and happy family!
First Time. Ever!
Finally, after so many months of trying to figure out if i am going to blog or not! atlast, i’ve decided to give it a shot! at first, i was hesitant coz i may not be able to maintain it. I love to read a lot! but am not really good at putting my thoughts into writing. I’m a reader & not a writer! LOL. hope you get what i mean… I got fascinated in reading others’ blogs, so i decided to have one myself! still learning and observing. You will get to know me in my upcoming posts… so, welcome to myself in the world of blogging!!!
