Community Helpers

10 / 11 / 12

Dear daughter will be having a school activity by next week,  they are required to go to the class all dressed up to their favorite community helper attire. She wanted to be a nurse! So there, she’ll be wearing scrub sets similar to the ones being offered by Marcus Uniforms.Com wherein they offer a wide variety of choices of medical scrubs for men and women.

They will be having a little program wherein they have to prepare a speech in front of class about their dream profession when they grow up. For now, dear daughter wants to become a nurse, then a fashion designer the next time you asked. lol! Oh well, she got a long way to go before she can finalize and realized what she really wants.

United Nation’s School Activity

10 / 10 / 12

The month of October is filled with lots of school activities for the little girl. Good thing they were done with the educational field trip last month. They are now preparing for the United Nation’s Activity.

Last week, she asked me to help her in searching for the Saudi Arabia Flag logo in the internet. They will be having a parade in school and they need to make their own flag. It was an easy task since all we need is to print and cut it out.

The highlight of the activity would be the parade of nations were they would be asked to wear international costumes (depending on the assigned country) We were hoping that she would be chosen to wear the Philippines costume so she can wear again the Filipiniana dress that she wore during their Buwan ng Wika (National Language Month) activity here:

All I need is to change the accessories that she wore. She was wearing a silver necklace, I think pearls are more likely to look good on this costume, what do you think?!

We are also looking forward to lots of upcoming activity this coming holiday season, oh and there is also the Halloween first! I bet she will be needing a lot of costume to wear. 😀

Something’s (headache and body ache) have gotten into me again but I am coping. I am just so glad that today is the last day for the work week though I have a lot of errands for today. I am so looking forward for this day to be over soon, so that I could have some rest and TV time tonight, some online tasks are also waiting to be slashed off from my pending of “to do’s” list! Have a happy Friday!

Good Grades and Meet Up with Online Friends

10 / 5 / 10

Went to the little girl’s school last Saturday to get her report grades from their first trimester period. At first, I thought there will be a meeting, but glad that there was none as I have to prepare for our afternoon meet up with friends/ twitter buddies, Tere and Race at Megamall. Too bad that I wasn’t able to have a little makeover, getting fixed up with my hair and everything as the salon that I went to yesterday were only offering massage and bikini waxing at that time because all of their salon attendants are full in their appointment schedule with other clients.  Makes me wonder if I could avail of the wax promo too but that could wait as I need to wait for some funds before I can avail that or rather suggest it to a friend who are looking for it for quite sometime now.

In less that ten minutes, with a little updates on DD’s performance in class ( she was very active orally!) teachers’ were amused as she would often volunteer to perform in singing Korean songs. LOL. We were really happy to see her good grades, though she need to focus on math! lol! weh?! mana sa akin sa Math. bwahaha! Of course she deserve a reward for all the hardwork. 😉

Excited Much

5 / 31 / 10

This photo was taken few weeks ago after we enrolled her to her new big school. She will be in grade one this coming school year, After buying her new uniform and tried fitting it, she excitedly pose for the picture. She’s really growing so fast, two of her lower  front permanent teeth have already erupted, she even asked us to open an account at Facebook so that she won’t be playing on my account and she wants her very own pet at Pet society. Time really flies so fast indeed.

Gabby’s Field Trip

2 / 14 / 10

I was done resizing tons of photos from Gabby’s field trip last Thursday. I was up as early as 4 a.m to prepare our things. I woke up the little girl around 5 a.m for an early breakfast and bath time. We were at the school just in time for the assembly at exactly 6 a.m. the departure is 7 a.m.

Photo overload

Our first stop was at the Kids Power in Roxas Blvd.

Second was at the Bio Research in Paranaque, we arrived there at around 10 a.m and had our lunch there, we were given free fishes and we bought an aquarium for only 120 pesos:

Fourth and last pit was at EK in Sta. Rosa Laguna, we arrived there at around 3:00 p.m, Gabby was really excited and so I am as it was our first time to be there. As usual, Gabby had a blast there and she wasn’t really scared with the rides, she even insisted on riding the space shuttle. oh my! LOL.

Did you noticed how she had her signature pose in all of the shots? LOL. We stayed there up until 6 p.m, but we went to the bus around 6:30 pm as we did buy some souvenirs and pasalubong for DH and Nicco who were excitedly waiting for us back home. We left the EK around 7 p.m and we did sleep while we were on our way back home, The teacher woke me up and the little girl and told us that we were already at the school. I was really surprised because our travel time from EK to Mandaluyong is only 1 hour. We arrived home at around past 8 pm. Safe and sound. It was indeed a learning and enjoyable experience…
