It has been a month since I did the first part of my DS’s Educational Field Trip post. Thank Goodness that there were pictures to get hold of those precious memories during the activity.
Our second stop: FORT SANTIAGO
Located at Intramuros, Manila.
We were able to reach the place just in time for Lunch. I thought we’d pass by to a food chain where we could buy some food but I was wrong. So I decided to just had our Lunch at a restaurant inside the Fort Santiago.
The design of the place is that of an old historical look!
A view from our table inside the restaurant
Photo below are some of the things you get to see inside the place.
DS immediately run into this Cannon and immediately asked me to take a photo of him.
Bench for a sit relaxation at the sidewalk
Play area for the kids
Kalesa Ride around the Intramuros, I just don’t know how much is the fee for the ride.
A view across the facade of the main gate of the Fort Santiago
An old foreign couple enjoying their tour inside the historical place.
DS at the reconstructed main gate
DS walking down on the bronze footsteps that represents Rizal’s final walk to his execution
RIzal Shrine at the Plaza De Armas
Oh that red thing is DS’s cap at the left foot of Rizal! 🙂
The ever famous Wall of Intramuros
Going back down the memory lane of our country’s history is one enjoyable moment worthy to share with our kids. We’re hoping to go back again next time with the whole family as we never really got the chance to explore everything what’s inside due to time constraint. I guess I am the one who enjoyed it the most instead of DS.
