One of the best part of traveling is being able to see and discover historical places, experiencing different cultures and tradition. Some travelers have this certain passion for “wine experience” in every country/ places that they visit. When husband went to Australia last 2011, he was able to visit different wineries and do wine tasting with his sibling. He vowed to do this again on his next trip with me of course! 🙂

Manila Ocean Park

1 / 13 / 11

I am so behind in updating my blogs with our previous activities last December, hope I could catch up soon with the other ones. For now, let me share first our visit to the Manila Ocean Park last December 27. We went there together with Ate Irene’s family (DH’s sis). We went early before 9 a.m.. Perfect timing as there were only few people then…

The kids really enjoyed the place as they get to see a lot of different kinds of aquatic animals around them. These are their top favorites amongst others:

DS was saying that he saw “Patrick” the pink starfish character in Spongebob. LOL!

This is the only allowed sea creature that you can touch around.

Facts about Star Fish:

Although sea stars live underwater and are commonly called “starfish,” they are not fish. They do not have gills, scales, or fins like fish do and they move quite differently from fish.

While they can’t see as well as we do, sea stars have an eye spot at the end of each arm. This is a very simple eye that looks like a red spot. The eye doesn’t see much detail, but can sense light and dark.

We stayed for quite awhile in the underwater viewing tunnel and did enjoy being surrounded by these aquatic animals. Got some blurry pics because flash is not allowed when taking a picture.

Then off we went to buy at the souvenir shop and we also did avail their 3D picture frame for P400.

Went out the place around 11 a.m and it’s too crowded already. So you have to come early to full enjoy going around.

Pampering Yourself

11 / 4 / 09
One nice gift that you could give yourself this holiday season is to pamper yourself. Go to spa, have a massage and take off all the stress that caused you after being too busy the whole year round. Sometimes we tend to forget ourselves as we are too busy indulging on how to please other people. Treating and pampering ourselves once in awhile helps us to renew and freshen our thoughts and came up with a more pleasant views in life.

You could also have a trip to salon and get makeover, strut for a new haircut, get your nails done and choose a very nice nail polish that would go along with your nice dress, cute isn’t it?! There are nice Christmas treats of nail care products that you can choose from at nails inc. They are quick, affordable and of high quality products and nails services that would give that fingernails a nice treatment this holiday season. You may opt to choose form a wide array of their color collections of nail polish or you can even make your own collection by choosing products you want. These are very nice products that I’m sure will be loved by your girl friends and is a very nice gift that you could give them this holiday.
