It’s a great thing that technology is advanced nowadays, especially in the field of music as there are now gadgets that makes it easy for musicians to do their thing. A friend has been into recording and she’s always glued on the computer fixing things up with their music piece. I woke up early last Wednesday (May 15) in a not so good mood, did my usual morning routine of checking on my email- NO NEW EMAIL! That added a bit to my bad mood because it means no work, no added earnings for me. hmmp!

I also thought of the announcement of winners in a blog giveaway contest ( HP Great Printer Giveaway here at The GoMom )that I joined in. I actually saw it in one of the FB groups that I am subscribed in.

I am not really a fan of joining in any kind of contest because aside from the fact that ~~I have never been lucky a winner in any of the contest that I joined in the past~~, except pala that I also won grand prize in Starbucks planner giveaway in 2010 :D. Some contest requires a lot of things to do- blog it, TWEET and ReTweet it everyday (some do a requires couple of times in a day. whew!) subscribe here and there, LIKE this and that!, FOLLOW him and her, ANSWER this in a min. of 100 words, blah, blah… quite a daunting task. Just my thought! :)

I am ready for an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage upgrade because I need to catch up with the latest on printing technology. Since I have two schooling kids, there are lots of school art projects and printing to do’s. Not to mention that I myself need it for work (regular 8 hour day job and online work). The convenience of having an all-in-one printer plus wifi is a great factor to contribute in being productive for school, work, crafts and personal activity that requires a printing, scan or copy jobs.

Back To The Grind

I just can’t get over with the long weekend, I am still feeling blue at work and is always on the lookout for the clock to tick till 5:30 pm. Bad I know! Nothing seems interesting at work anymore. The eight hours I spend at the office seems like eight years to me. 🙁

But then again, I still got a work and it’s what matter most right now, everybody’s aiming to get one and here I am thinking to quit.

For now, I need to keep this job. I am done with the contribution reporting, all I need is to submit them for filing. I also need to look for emc vnx 5300, a san storage that a client needs for their network in the office. I need to get it done to submit the quotation for approval. Update my file for accounts receivables, etc. attend to out of the office errands.

I just hope the very main reason I got five years ago before I started on this job can keep me inspired and motivated to keep this work. I am really praying hard to God to show me the right way and guide me on my decisions.

A relative is set to open a mini grocery store by this month and we’ve been helping her out to fill all business requirements so that they can go on a full operation by early next month. Good thing I know where to buy a receipt printer needed for their cashiering system. I will be calling and asking a quotation for it by early morning on Monday. We still have to seek application and approval of the said units by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. Hoping to be able to settle on the said requirements soon so that it will gonna be a business as usual for the said grocery soon.

Christmas Wish list

Only one day left before the month of December comes in, and it’s exactly 25 days left before Christmas. People around are so busy planning their holiday activities. Christmas holiday is my top favorite occasion, a time of the year when all are just in their jolly and holiday mood. The sharing, gift giving, party and festive mood is just really inspiring.

It has always been a routine, or you may say a “tradition” for many (including myself) to create their yearly wish list for the holiday season. I’ve always been creating my list since I was a kid, hoping that Santa will deliver all of the toys, toys and more toys that I have written down on my list 😀

As I grew up, I realized that mom and Dad were my “Santa Claus” who tries to grant all of those things that I have written on my “Dear Santa” wish list. But up to this date, I still do continue writing one, only to hope that I ( I consider myself the Santa Claus since I earn my own money now) would have enough budget for those things. LOL. DH and I were also Santa for our kids now.

For my 2011 Christmas wish list, I want:

A notebook for myself, so I am now canvassing on some cheap and yet quality made laptop computers around the net.
Office bag
Pairs of shoes
New pants, shirts and blouse. Ok, I want a closet makeover.
Iphone or Ipad

I hope Santa will grant my wishes, not necessarily all of these things but I hope that he’ll consider any of the techy gadgets 😉

For Music Lovers

It has been quite sometime since I listened to some of my favorite music. I miss those days when all I do during my spare time is to sit or lay down while listening to soothing music to relax. Now that I have two kids with me, most of the time- all I would hear are screams, crying, shouting and fighting. LOL!

The only time for me to get some “me time” is at night where everyone is sleeping. From there, I can do face my computer and keep up with my online activities like watching videos and listening to music.

I am thinking of buying a AH-D5000 headphones for me to fully enjoy the music and to avoid disturbing the kids with my sound tripping at night :D. The unit uses a light weight magnesium frame so I won’t be having a hard time listening with it for a longer period of time.
