Organizing The Kids’ Toys

Last weekend, I was able to find time and way on how to organize and keep the kids toys away the bed, the floor, bathroom and under the pillows. Yes, they are everywhere!!! Haha!

Whenever the kids saw me tinkering on their toys, they will come and offer “help” in sorting out the toys. In this manner, the “for disposal toys” will end up in a few pieces only, telling me that most of the toys are still in good working condition (broken cars, one-leg barbie doll, hard clay, etc) and should not be thrown or given away! 😀

Dear daughter’s plastic and mini pull-out dresser when she was still a baby is now their toy’s new home. I’ll show in the upcoming posts how we are able to do it. No more cluttered toys… For now! 🙂

Post-It Smiley’s

I woke up one morning to seeing this before I enter the bathroom. Underneath our dresser are the kids toys (the one that they usually play with most of the time). I did ask them to put in the plastic box their favorite ones, so as not having a very cluttered toys around the room.

Other toys were put in a separate big box outside our bedroom, bog ones like cars, stuffed toys, etc. Board games like monopoly and puzzles are in the cabinet.

This time, the organizer box is filled with post it notes!

He said, “ those are our different moods while we play!” 😀 BTW, he got those post it note from their cousin… and I think he got it without any permission. 😉

Gift Toy For the Little Boy

We went out yesterday to do some school supplies shopping for the kids. We were at the mall before 10 a.m. Yes, that early because it is more comfortable and easier to move around since there are still a few people shopping.

We headed straight to the mall’s toy section after we’re done at the bookstore to buy the little boy’s requested gift for his birthday. He chose a play drum and a yoyo while going around the toy area.

There was a yoyojam atmosphere in the house upon reaching home and opening his gifts. He and his cousins were busy all throughout the day playing with yoyo tricks.

We’re so glad that lil boy was easy to please around even with those cheap toys that we bought for him 🙂

Christmas Gift

The little boy is quite overwhelmed with the toys that he saw when we went to SM Megamall’s Toy Kingdom last Tuesday. You could really see delight on the kids faces. They don’t want to go out of the store anymore when we were about to leave. Nicco was bugging me to buy him a toy gun and put up this Hunting pellet guns look alike toy without my knowledge on our shopping cart. He even tricked me by putting it up under those other items we bought. I only noticed it while I was browsing the receipt at home. He was all smile when I confronted him. Oh well, what can I do?! He’s very much enjoying his new toy.
