Wiggly Front Tooth

11 / 8 / 12

Dear son lost his one of his front tooth sometime in August. 🙂 Now, the other one is wiggly too!

082520121290

Last Monday, his Daddy got a call from the teacher to pick him up from the school because he threw up and has a slight fever upon checking his temperature.

He was all well according to Ian before he left for school that day so the Dad was kinda’ worried when he got the call.  Glad that he was given a special exam for being absent. His upper gums are swollen, might be the reason why he’s sick.

We’re just all waiting for the tooth to fall off and he’s now anticipating for the tooth fairy’s surprise gift arrival anytime soon. 😀

DS Kinder-1 Educational Field Trip Part 3: Damas Filipinas

4 / 15 / 12

… the third from part four of the educational field trip. Pardon for the long delay. 🙂

Third stop: Asociacion de Damas  de Filipinas, Inc.

An organization that serves and takes care of disadvantage kids. The place is located in Paco, Manila.

P1250441

The kids surprised us with song and dance performance, quite a number of performance actually. I saw our school principal handed them some donations like books and other learning materials that these kids can use. Glad to know that there were institutions like these that really do care for kids who needs a lot of attention. Our government should really took effort in supporting these kind of institution instead of wasting money for those non-beneficial projects that they venture into.

A Special Valentines Card From The Little Boy

2 / 19 / 12

Last Valentine’s Day was just like a simple and typical day for us. No dinner date with hubby, no roses and chocolates, nothing extra special. Boring?! not really! because we’re  not really used to celebrating the hearts day, added the fact that we don’t have budget for a fancy celebration. Ahaha!

Greeting each other with a warm hug and a kiss is enough for us. Besides, showing your love and appreciation to your loved ones doesn’t really have to wait for any special occasion.

And oh! we got a little surprise from the little boy, a simple card that he made from school!

He hugged me tight and handed me this card immediately when he saw me arrived from work. Another cherished moments indeed. 🙂

Another Recreational Activity

1 / 24 / 12

.. for the little boy that is! We will be going to dear son’s kinder-1 Educational Trip tomorrow. As always, he can’t contain his excitement when I let him take a peek of  what we’ll be seeing in one of the places to be visited. There will be only four places on the list and all of them are just within the Metro Manila, which I think is enough for us to enjoy each place unlike before that we had to go far wherein travel time alone is already quite tiring.

I will be taking a leave from work to accompany DS. I need to prepare all these things early tonight for tomorrow’s activity.

  • First aid kit  ( band-aid, Betadine, white flower, etc.)
  • Extra clothes (Shirt, short/ pants, underwear)
  • Extra towel
  • Travel medicines
  • Digicam
  • Extra batteries
  • Snacks
  • Pocket money

Will be back with lots of photos and stories to share here! 🙂

Little Boy’s Exam Result

9 / 6 / 11

08312011130

I am glad that it turned out well for the exam results despite not being able to make a detailed review in all of his subjects. We just actually re-read all of his past lessons and it only goes to show that he actually understands them :). His writing skills need a lot of improvement, though he’s getting there. He would only write his first name and says he’s tired to write his last name. LOL!

The Little Boy Wants One

9 / 20 / 10

The little boy has been bugging me for so long about buying him an omatrix! that’s how he pronounce it.LOL! only to find out that it’s an OMNITRIX. He saw it from his current favorite BEN10. I remember a couple of months ago while we were in a  shoe department in a mall,  he grabbed a pair of  slippers with BEN10 on it.

This must be ♥♥♥!!!

Let’s Get Physical

7 / 1 / 10

P1050503

DS in his usual “kulit” mood… We are really thankful that he really enjoys schooling. Never he did throw any tantrums at school and initially ok to him being left the first day of class. Happily shows his star signs on his hands and make sure it will last till I arrived early evening to show it to me.lol! Very eager to learn as he would always say that he will study his lessons and like to answers all the activity pages on their book. Ahaha. Guess I need to buy some other activity book for him to answer in advance. I hope he remains the same way for the rest of the school year. 😀

My Nicco @ 3 on Playing!

7 / 8 / 09

According to baby center, here’s

My 3-year-old now

Some call it the perfect toy. It doesn’t require batteries, you can play just about anything with it, and chances are, you already have several at your house. What is it? A ball.

Three-year-olds don’t know that playing catch and kicking a ball build hand-eye coordination and work out the fine-motor and gross-motor skills that will help them as they learn to do everything from hold a pencil to ride a bike. They just know that playing with a ball is a blast.

At 3, your child can probably kick and throw overhand pretty well. Doing it with good aim is another thing. And catching is a bit harder. Most children aren’t truly coordinated catchers until they’re 10 years old. For now, they may be able to catch a large ball with both arms out in front of them, particularly if the adult has good aim. The next step? Catching the ball with elbows bent. But it may take another year or two to get this down pat.

Catching skills vary greatly at this age. Some kids channel Golden Glovers from the start. Others need more practice or are much more timid. Playing catch with a large, soft, squishy ball or a partly inflated beach ball is a good idea for this age group — it’s easier to grab and less scary when it hits your child.

Next time you say “no” to one of your child’s requests, don’t be surprised if she marches into the next room and asks your partner the very same thing. In their quest to define boundaries, preschoolers get to be clever about testing all the limits. They also start doing lots of negotiating: One more big bite or one more little bite? Does a lick count as a bite? If Mom said no, might Dad say yes? (You can best avoid that last scenario by having clear, consistent family rules; even so, be prepared for a wily and persistent little negotiator to get around you on smaller matters. If it happens, point out your disapproval to your child — and your partner — and explain why.)
