It’s so annoying to see lots of irrelevant comments waiting for approval on my dashboard, good thing that akismet were able to filter them. But I still do check out the spam folder as there are some legitimate comments that goes in once in a while. Some spammers do even copy  names and  would even dig your old posts and leave too many links. So I always double check first before approving any.
