My father used to have this bunch of great old coins in our closet then, I was asking him then whey does he have to keep it still when we can no longer use it to purchase things anymore. It  has no value and thought that it was just another pieces of junks.

He explained to me that the reason for its safekeeping is for investment purposes, he said that just like when someone needs to buy gold coins for an investment for its known and increasing value as time goes by, same goes for his pieces of old coins.

Gold has tremendously taken its toll since the old generation and up until now, it never seems to lose its powerful charisma on business investments.
