Fashion Tops

3 / 7 / 21

Now that most of us are working from the comfort of our homes, we no longer have to spend too much time and effort in thinking of an outfit to wear to work or office. Any house dress would suffice since you’re just at home. Can even wear sleepwear the entire shift!.

However, we have to at least dress up a bit whenever we have to do video calls and online meetings, especially when the boss are attending 🙂 We have to still do the proper etiquette in wearing the right clothing even if it’s only online. What’s good about it is you can only dress up properly on top part! So I am looking online on where to get womens fashion sweaters that has different designs I can choose from.

Women Solid Color Casual Sweater

Since we can’t go out to go to the malls and shop for clothing like we used to do before the pandemic to observe social distancing, we were all confined at the comfort of our homes and rely a bit more on online shopping. It is very helpful to just buy online and have things delivered right through our doorsteps for our essential needs like food, clothing and medicines. Without compromising on the health risk outside our home.

So I am searching for some more tops online that I can buy and add up to my “work from home outfit”

Casual Tops

I love wearing casual tops that can also be worn during online meeting and still look casual smart by adding up additional accessory like scarves, pins, etc. Not to mention you can just wear house short or pajama on your bottom as it can’t be seen by your co workers in the camera. haha!

Holapick is a great online place that caters to women’s fashion needs in terms of clothing like shirts and dresses. The options are endless and the price is also a great catch with lots of discounts you can avail of.

Fashionable Clothes For Plus Sizes

12 / 14 / 16

When I gave birth to my two kids, one of my major problem is going back to my pre-pregnancy weight and body.  It was even my motivation before to fit into my old clothes, but I just gave up because I failed and gain weight even more. Haha!

I did accept the fact that I had to deal with my current body weight and figure. At the moment, I  still aim to lose weight but for healthy lifestyle purpose. That’s all what we aim for right?! But since I know that it would take sometime (slowly but surely) I still can wear clothes that are comfortable and still of style as well despite the increase in size.  I remember I do wear the size M (Medium) before I got pregnant and now I’m size XL!

Oh well, good thing that there are now plus size dresses for women, so I no longer have to worry about what to wear, especially for special occasion, which is quite a hassle in doing clothes shopping at the mall because sizes are very limited. Their X-Large size looks a small size on me when worn. Can you just imagine me on a bulging tummy emphasized ?! Haha

So if you are looking for cheap plus size clothing , you may check out Fashion Mia, your online stop for Modern, Irresistible, and Affordable women’s clothing.

Plus Size Clothing

9 / 17 / 13

When I gave birth to my two kids a few years ago, I came to accept the fact that I may never be able to wear a small sized clothing again. Ok, I knew that with determination and proper healthy lifestyle living, I can go back to my pre pregnancy weight. But that would be a quite time needed for me. For now, I had to settle for the reality that I am on a plus sized clothing.

It’s a good thing that Plus size clothing nowadays are not really that bad after all. They really fits my body well and able to  hide away the bulges pretty well. That one can strut off a modest swimwear plus size without looking a trying hard gal on a two piece swimsuit.

See, plus size women can also wear anything that a small sized women do. It’s just matter of choosing the right clothing that will complement your body.

The Importance of Vitamin D in Women

7 / 25 / 13

Our food today is heavily processed, and that means that many vitamins and nutrients are squeezed out of even fresh foods. If you are eating a lot of frozen meals, then you are receiving even fewer of the vitamins and minerals you need. Vitamin deficiency can lead to serious problems like hair loss, bone loss and other health issues.

Biotin is one example of an important vitamin. Also known as B7, it helps keep rashes, hair loss, anemia and even depression away. Found in meat, liver, milk and peanuts, it is also readily available in Wise Woman herbal supplements from OVitaminPro.com.

Scurvy was commonly seen in sailors who spent months at sea eating only salted meats and dried grains. It was a fatal condition, and it is still seen today when people have a severe vitamin C deficiency. Increase the intake of citrus fruits to get more vitamin C, and you can also keep your levels high with supplements.

Vitamin D and calcium work together to keep bones strong. The calcium is used by the bones, but the vitamin D is needed for absorption. It is added to milk, and people can also get their bodies to produce vitamin D by spending some time in the sunlight. If you live in an area that goes through long periods of overcast skies and cold temperatures, then you can also increase your vitamin D intake with supplements.

There are so many vitamins and minerals that people need to survive. Even if you are eating fresh fruits, vegetables and protein, you may not get the required levels of them. The good news is that you can correct the levels and keep yourself healthy by investing in high quality supplements.

The Best Exercises for Menopause

8 / 13 / 12

Many women find that they need to exercise more regularly to combat weight gain in menopause. Decreasing estrogen levels can lead to a slower metabolism and an expanding waistline. While exercise can prevent hot flashes in the long, some women get hot flashes while exercising. What types of activities are best in menopause and how can hot flashes be minimized so that exercising does not leave you wet and miserable? Read on to discover some strategies for keeping cool to help make exercising in menopause more enjoyable.

Exercising in the water is a great way to tone muscles, burn calories and stay cool. Swimming is an excellent form of exercise and can be done in a pool, lake or the ocean if you are fortunate enough to live near one. Access to an indoor pool means that you can swim year-round and stay fit. Watersports such as water skiing, surfing, diving and water aerobics done to music allow you to enjoy the invigorating feeling of coolness while getting in a necessary workout.

Walking, biking or hiking are activities that any women can enjoy, regardless of fitness level, age or health status. The important thing to remember when exercising is to warm up slowly and keep your heart rate within your target range for a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes. If you find that you become overheated and are plagued by hot flashes, exercise during cooler weather or at the coolest times of the day (early in the morning or in the evening) to minimize hot flashes. Dress in light layers so that layers can be shed as you become warm. Dress in breathable fabrics and avoid silks, nylon and polyester blends- cotton is your friend, particularly light cottons that allow some air exchange between your skin and the environment.

Winter sports like hockey, downhill or cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, skating and curling are excellent forms of exercise but may be difficult due to the need for warm clothing. It can be difficult to strike a balance between staying warm and not becoming overheated. Winter sports requiring a helmet may be a special kind of torture, as helmets will not allow heat to escape from the head, making hot flashes even more unbearable. If you love winter sports, be sure to stay hydrated while playing and consider a helmet liner that will absorb moisture.

Keep in mind the following tips while exercising to keep hot flashes to a minimum and enhance your enjoyment:

  • Keep your hair tied up and off your neck
  • Line helmets with a sweat band or wear a sweat band to absorb any moisture
  • Dress in layers so that layers can be removed as you become warm
  • Stay well hydrated while exercising to help your body stay cooler
  • Rest as needed to allow your body to cool down
  • Avoid caffeinated beverages before exercising
  • Wear fabrics that allow air exchange and wick moisture away from the skin
  • Try deep breathing when a hot flash hits (this can shorten the length of your hot flash)

Don’t let unpleasant hot flashes deter you from exercising and looking and feeling your best! By following these tips, you can minimize the hot flashes and maximize your workout.
