One of the beneficial activity for the kid and adults is getting into sport. Health wise and physical, it offers a lot of benefits for us. So it is better to encourage everyone to go into sports, any that fancies you and the one that usually fits your personality, most important of all is your passion for it. Just like a cousin who is into archery, I must say that it is  kinda different type of sport from the usual. Concentration and pulse is essential. But we are all happy that he’s pretty doing well into this sport, that another relative is supporting him all the way including financial assistance and buying him an archery equipment to keep him more motivated and inspired to do good in it.

My kids were still up late last night as they were waiting for their Dad who in fact was just outside our house unwinding with his male friends over a couple of bottle of beers. He’s a moderate drinker so I am not bothered even if he goes home late. DH kept on talking about this new sports activity that he wanted to try out with his friends upon reaching home, as somebody among them were into atv riding and were talking about how exciting it is, Oh well, I just told him to take extra precautions as the sport is kinda physically risky. But being the adventurous  person that he is, I bet no one can stop him in doing it, so let it be.

I remember my childhood years with my friends when we used to play different kinds of games till we drop dead tired. Those were the times where active playing got the kids as computers and internet games were not yet introduced yet, Of course this was the most healthy way to exercise and help kids to become more interactive with their playmates. We always play football games every afternoon and our play area would be the large street near our house. Oh those were the days! and its such a delight reminiscing childhood years. Now that we are all grown up, we still catch up on each other once in awhile and our dear friend J who develop his passion for football and who used to play at San Beda since his elementary days were definitely updated with the Miami Dolphins Tickets that I saw on the web and I was right as I buzz him over at YM to ask if he already got one and told me with a big yes. LOL. I should have known…

I am pushing DH to get involved into some physical activities now that he rarely does exercise. Being a diabetic person that he is, exercise balances everything as well as the food the he’s taking too. he’s much into basketball before, but when I gave birth to our 2 kids things have changed upside down. Our time has been solely dedicated to them. But now that they are quite grown up, We both can now have our so called “me” time every once in awhile. DH is contemplating if he would try out playing paintball and other battle games using airsoft guns as it got his attention while watching a late night show introducing new sports activities that men will surely enjoy. This sounds good as it would be healthier for them rather than having a drinking sessions with friends.

Paintball games have been such a craze among guys nowadays though gals could also play this sport too. I saw how it works as it was featured in one of the morning shows on a local channel, It caught DH’s attention as he would to love to try this out. He even called up some friends and told them about it. As expected, they are on schedule by next week for a game or two with another bunch of male friends as their opponents. All’s set except for the paintball gun package that they need to avail to fully enjoy the fun and exciting sport.
