Computer Repair

5 / 17 / 13

I slept late the other night. I was busy tinkering on my PC because I did install a software that I badly needed for reporting at work. Since my PC at the office is running on Linux, I can’t figure out on how to run it with the system so I  decided to have it installed in my PC at home which runs on Windows.

I took me quite sometime to figure out on how to make things work around, I am actually preparing for Iolo computer repair first thing in the morning the next day because the system won’t run and I actually were not able to figure out on how to print the transmittal report. After a few hours of trouble shooting, the System Restore saved my day. Whew!

Great Deal On Computer Products

7 / 9 / 12

Our PC has been having boot up problems for quite  sometime now. The Bios can’t be seen upon the start up. I asked out technician and he told me that the motherboard or the windows itself could be the problem.

We went to the mall yesterday afternoon to do some shopping and pass by a computer center to look around for a laptop. But the prices of the notebooks doesn’t match our budget still.

Good thing that an online friend informed me about the tiger direct coupons that  I can use for different computer related products that I will buy. Now, I am having difficulty of figuring out which one to choose because all of them are all on cheap and good deals!

Back Online

10 / 9 / 10

I know its been awhile since my last update. Offline activities kept me busy the past days and I always sleep early to bed instead of spending a few hours online before hitting the sack. I don’t want to mess up anymore with my sleeping schedule since online activities can be done during office hours too at day time since office tasks are lean.

Kids are doing ok, especially at school. The little boy on the other hand has been bugging for me days weeks actually about buying him the Omnitrix, the Ben10 watch. Looking around the net on where I can buy, I was lead to a gift idea lists that includes an xbox which is on top of the most wished gift. Hmm.. there are quite a number of xbox accessories on the lists as well which only shows that it is really indeed an in-demand among game enthusiasts. I hope I won’t read an xbox 360 on my little boy’s Christmas wish list if ever. Ahaha. We’ll see in two month’s time 😉

Computer Repair

7 / 29 / 10

One of the many perks that goes with doing my job is being connected to the world wide web. Some of my tasks entail me to do some research on the net. The convenience of my work is also dependent on the reliability of my PC. Just a few days ago, my PC at the office suddenly shut down while I was doing a report. I kept on rebooting it, but it said “ Disk Boot Failure.”

Our technician said there was a problem with the hard drive. Thankfully, I workwith  technicians around who can do the repair. When it is our home computers that fail us, we aren’t quite so lucky! In a world where we are all so reliant on our computers, it is important to find a reliable and quick computer repair service. In the Portland metropolitan area there is a company that provides straight forward and well-priced service to homes and small businesses.

This Portland computer repair company will either come to your home to service your computer, or do it remotely through an internet connection. They promise that regardless of which service you choose the service will be prompt and thorough. Portland pc repair is a company that has simplified computer repair. No unplugging wires and toting your system into a shop. They will come to you, or service your computer remotely.

Their service fees are straight forward and they offer a flat rate and guaranteed virus removal service. In addition to virus removal they offer Portland computer support for hardware problems, for software installation, a simple data back up or even os installation. This Portland company is PCMD Inc. They are open 7 days a week from 8 AM to 7 PM, which is really helpful and also very convenient.

Computer Upgrade

1 / 6 / 10

Now that the holiday is over, most of us are now back to regular schedules. If I could only wish that everyday is a holiday so I could have all the time to laze around. lol! Gifts are unwrapped, and kids got their wishes granted, mostly are their favorite toys. As for me, I still haven’t got the top item on my wish list: an HP Pavillion laptop . But I am still persistent and hoping that I will be able to get one this year! 😉 Not that I am complaining about our ever reliable desktop computer at home, it’s actually in great condition, bought it just last year and the specs are quite enough for my needs. Haven’t encountered any problems yet and I hope it will stay that way.

As a Christmas gift for myself since I am in front of the PC almost the whole day (at work and home) we bought a Logitech EX100 wireless keyboard and mouse. I could say that it’s a great buy since my desk is now very organized and clutter free, no strangling cords. Neat and perfect for the OC me. ahaha! Anyway, upgrade will probably takes place by later this year.
