The Little Boy Wants One

Sep 20, 2010 ~ Written by admin

The little boy has been bugging me for so long about buying him an omatrix! that’s how he pronounce it.LOL! only to find out that it’s an OMNITRIX. He saw it from his current favorite BEN10. I remember a couple of months ago while we were in a  shoe department in a mall,  he grabbed a pair of  slippers with BEN10 on it.

This must be ♥♥♥!!!

DS in his usual “kulit” mood… We are really thankful that he really enjoys schooling. Never he did throw any tantrums at school and initially ok to him being left the first day of class. Happily shows his star signs on his hands and make sure it will last till I arrived early evening to show it to me.lol! Very eager to learn as he would always say that he will study his lessons and like to answers all the activity pages on their book. Ahaha. Guess I need to buy some other activity book for him to answer in advance. I hope he remains the same way for the rest of the school year. :D

My Nicco @ 3 on Playing!

Jul 08, 2009 ~ Written by admin

According to baby center, here’s

My 3-year-old now

Some call it the perfect toy. It doesn’t require batteries, you can play just about anything with it, and chances are, you already have several at your house. What is it? A ball.

Three-year-olds don’t know that playing catch and kicking a ball build hand-eye coordination and work out the fine-motor and gross-motor skills that will help them as they learn to do everything from hold a pencil to ride a bike. They just know that playing with a ball is a blast.

At 3, your child can probably kick and throw overhand pretty well. Doing it with good aim is another thing. And catching is a bit harder. Most children aren’t truly coordinated catchers until they’re 10 years old. For now, they may be able to catch a large ball with both arms out in front of them, particularly if the adult has good aim. The next step? Catching the ball with elbows bent. But it may take another year or two to get this down pat.

Catching skills vary greatly at this age. Some kids channel Golden Glovers from the start. Others need more practice or are much more timid. Playing catch with a large, soft, squishy ball or a partly inflated beach ball is a good idea for this age group — it’s easier to grab and less scary when it hits your child.

Next time you say “no” to one of your child’s requests, don’t be surprised if she marches into the next room and asks your partner the very same thing. In their quest to define boundaries, preschoolers get to be clever about testing all the limits. They also start doing lots of negotiating: One more big bite or one more little bite? Does a lick count as a bite? If Mom said no, might Dad say yes? (You can best avoid that last scenario by having clear, consistent family rules; even so, be prepared for a wily and persistent little negotiator to get around you on smaller matters. If it happens, point out your disapproval to your child — and your partner — and explain why.)

My Son’s 3rd Birthday: May 24, 2009

May 27, 2009 ~ Written by admin

The procrastinator in me strikes again, and so the delay in post of  DS’s  bday celebration pics was shelved again for a couple of days. Or was it because I was under the weather these past few days that makes me lazy to make some personal posts. Oh well, excuses! excuses! heee… We had DS celebrated his birthday in advanced last Saturday since somebody will used our place in celebration of a child’s christening on his birthday itself on Sunday.

My Son @3!
  • DS can now fully express himself the way he speaks, words are now fully understandable.
  • He is more affectionate on his feelings and can do things as instructed, can do simple errands and are now more choosy on clothes that he wants to wear.
  • Now plays and talks to his toys as if they were real and often regard his toys as his “mga anak”.
  • Would often play as Super heroes with a scarf as a cape on his back and would tell us the he is Superman or Zorro.

Mocha Cake!
Menu includes Pata tim, Chicken Barbecue, Siomai, Inihaw na Bangus, Tokwa’t Baboy (Fried Tofu and Pork) Ice cream c/o Vhong and Dha. Noticed that menus are mostly for adults it since we just invited my sister and some friends, my kuya and Nanay didn’t make it and the only kid is his cousin Dwayne.

Weekend Happenings

Sep 01, 2008 ~ Written by admin
We went to Quiapo (Mom’s place) yesterday to celebrate my mothers birthday which actually falls last Thursday, August 28. We had a sumptuous lunch courtesy of my big bro’s budget. tehee. We had pansit malabon, Spaghetti and pichi-pichi from Amber’s Restaurant. Will upload and share the photos this week.

It was freakin’ hot yesterday, good thing we were just in time when we reached Mandaluyong because it rained so hard. Maybe it was the reason why Nicco had his fever that night. I got awaken by his hot body temperature when he hugged me unconsciously while he was sleeping. I immediately gave him a 5ml dosage of the ever reliable Tempra syrup. After 5 minutes, when i checked on his temperature the fever is gone. He was all smiles when he woke up this morning as if nothing happened last night.
