Manic Monday On a Thursday!

Jul 22, 2010 ~ Written by admin

Been busy as a bee  the past days and I’m now catching up on #214

Imagine you have a hundred dollars, but you couldn’t keep it. You have to give it away to a person or charity. Who would you give it to? What would you want them to do with it?

I would give to someone who is sick and badly needs money to buy for his medicines and other needs. My heart goes out to those who are battling with dreaded diseases as  we all know how hard it is to deal with sickness. Time, money and effort are very much needed plus the support- financial, spiritual and moral.

If you could cook any meal for your friends or family, what would you cook?

I guess I need to learn how to cook first as DH does all the cooking for us. lol But I can do simple breakfast with sunny side up eggs, hotdogs, fried rice for my family. :D

List 5 things you want to do in your life.

I want to own a business, be able to travel w/ family, be able to spend my life w/ kids until they’re all grown up, enjoy things coming our way, be able to surpass life’s challenges. :)

Name 5 of the simple pleasures in your life:

  1. Long sleep
  2. Coffee
  3. “Me” time
  4. Bonding moments w/ family
  5. Cake ;)

What do you like to do on a rainy day? Laze around and sleep

I deserve a Longer vacation ( though I just got a 3 days off from work and I want a longer one :D).

Has reading a book ever changed your life? Which one and why, if yes?

Somehow it did, I was in my college years when I read the book of Dr. Wayne Dyer’s  “Your erroneous zone” . A lot of things and questions have been answered and was inspired by good thoughts and points that have been raised up in that book.

Name one book you had to read but hated, and explain why you hated it.

Those thick literary books in high school which we need to tackle in our English class, I have no choice but to read it since its part of our project. :D

If you could pick a book you’ve read to make into a movie, which one would you choose?

Hmmnn. can’t really think of any right now since most of  the books I’ve read have been put up in the big screen already.

As an adult, what is your favorite thing about summer?

As an adult my favorite thing about summer is of course vacation getaways, time to relax a bit and kids on vacation from school too.

What was your favorite thing about summer when you were a kid?

No need to wake up early as there are no classes. lol!. All I think back then was play, play, play during summer! ;)

In 2010, it will be the summer of _______.

Summer has just ended here on our part of the world. No more scorching heat of the sun, though there are still times that weather is the same as summer. It’s back to school once again here… Hope by next summer in 2011, we’ll be on full blast vacation mode. :D

If you could write your own bill of rights, what would you include?

~I guess all of the things in my mind are already included in the bill of rights, the problem lies on the implementation of it hence the rise of different problems in our society. Corruption, poverty, crimes, etc.. etc..

What is going on in the world today that affects you the most?

~ Global warming. the earthquake, storms, and other calamities that different countries are experiencing makes me so scared for our mother earth and for us too since we are living her on earth. I just hope that everyone will take part on taking care of it.

What do you think is the secret to a good life?

~ Contentment and peace of mind. Sleeping and waking up for another day is one truly blessing and miracle that we experience each day.
